New here?

We’d love to welcome you to our church. When you arrive at GPC, we’ll give you a name tag at the front door. You can collect a Bible and church bulletin from our greeting team at the auditorium doorway, then grab a seat inside for the service. Our church is wheelchair accessible and a hearing loop is available.

Services last for a little over one hour. During the service, we sing songs together, read the Bible and pray, and one of our ministry team presents a sermon. Afterwards we enjoy catching up with each other and meeting new people, over a cup of tea or coffee and some food.

We hope you enjoy your time with us. If you would like more information following your visit, you can either fill in a welcome slip on the day, or you can get in touch with us on 0423 116 487 or welcoming@gosfordpc.com.au. We’d love to hear from you!

Why Jesus?

What we love about Jesus is that he just makes sense. In a world where so much is senseless, Jesus' impeccable Jewish life, secular death on a Roman cross and resurrection from a rich man’s grave to never die again, make sense.

They make sense to us in the face of our less than impeccable lives, our inevitable sacred death, and our uncertain life after death.

Not to mention all the attendant senseless junk we deal with day by day, these Jesus makes sense of too. He makes sense of that ache for meaning we all have. He makes sense of why relationships are so important to us all. He makes sense of that dirty feeling on the inside that we all get. He makes sense of our sense of justice.

Thank God Jesus makes sense! And we would love for Jesus to make sense to you too.
